HEAVEN IS HERE!!!

Hey all you FIS peoples and friends,

I hope this blog finds you doing so wonderfully awesome in the goodness of God. This we know, God is good, God is faithful, God is a Father!!! As we find ourselves looking @ Him more and looking @ ourselves less, we see the reality of the present victory that is here now in Him!!! So glad that you are reading this now. If you are reading this now (which you are), that means that you are a friend of the ministry. We are so thankful for people that hear the sound and meaning of this ministry and show interest and invest towards its furtherance. Know that we love you all, and that we feel the unity throughout the body of Christ as God's kingdom grows ever stronger. We so appreciate you, your heart for God, and your heart for people!!! We as a band are committed to this generation and committed to the very heart of God going forth with spiritual violence at all costs. Keep us in your prayers. Know that your friendship and support is very essential to our ministry. We stay encouraged as you stay involved!!!

So whats been going on in the FIS neighborhood??? GREAT QUESTION!!!
I want to bring you uptodate on a few things that are happenning in our world.

First of all I'd like to say that the FIS NITE OF WORSHIP W MORGAN BUXTON AND HALEY MASTERS @ CHRIST CHURCH WM was a great success. The event in every facet in my opinion was incredible!!! Thanks so much to everyone who attended and to everyone who contributed. This 1 event was supported so broadly by the kingdom of God in this local community. We thank all of you for believing in the vision of this ministry and being an active part of what we do. So many people contributed to making this night a success spiritually and logisticly. A HUGE THANKS to Christ Church of West Monroe for allowing us the use of the facility to facilitate such an awesome movement of worship. Special thanks to Scotty and Morgan Buxton for the many hours they sowed into that night. Andre St Pierre, Matt Brock, Ryan Lowe, and Jarret Carter really extended a hand on the technical (set-up and breakdown) side of things to make it a great night. Needless to say, Morgan and Haley did a great job ministering in song with FIS backing them musically. So much unity there. It was amazing. God likes to be God, and He releases such favor in unity. Another huge thanks to ROB TUCKER and 88.7 THE CROSS for extending so much favor in the promotion of the event. Phillip Brooks also had us in to do a live acoustic studio performance that very morning, which went awesome. The interview time with Phillip was amazing. Rob, Phillip, Bob, Leslie, Sam, and all the rest of the 88.7 gang,,,you guys are amazing. Thanks so much for being who you are. Rob Tucker "mc"ed the event for us and did an excellent job. I so appreciate Rob and his honesty towards the heart of God. He really brings reality in the midst of religion that really speaks a "now" word in the midst of all of live's circumstances. Thanks so much for all of the church's involved in support through attendance. Multiple churches were present with a huge showing of folks in attendance. You guys bless my heart. The night was incredible in the presence of our Father God. God is releasing His heart to the hungry. The revelation of His heart lets us know how inviting He really is. There was a freedom there to "be" with God. It was a night we got to "be" with God through a spirit of revelation. The night was in direct support of our upcoming studio project, and we were able to raise considerable funds to advance that project through the generosity of all you who attended. THANKS, THANKS, AND THANKS!!!

So, as you see, I never blog, but this is probably why. Once I get to writing, its hard for me to stop!! Ha ha!!

Tonight was another great night!!! The group ministered @ ONEIGHTY Youth Ministry of Bethany Church WM (where I am the youth pastor!!!). ONEIGHTY held a youth rally night where multiple groups came together to fellowship, worship, and to receive God's word!!! It was an incredible night as four other youth groups joined with 180 to have a blast in Jesus!!! The worship was great, and I had the privledge of preaching the Word of God. The message was entitled "I Surrender All". The message began with 2 questions. 1..."is there anything God is asking of you that you are witholding of Him?" and 2..."is there anything in your life that is keeping you from going deeper with God?". These two questions positioned the message to see that the things that keep us back from going all the way with God are temporal. We give these things more worth than Jesus many times in our every day lives. The issue is,,,to give all and sell out to Jesus, we must see the worth of His work over our eternal soul. I shared how the worth of Jesus over our eternal soul was infinetly huge and proved the point that he was worth being spent on!!! We are calling a generation to sold out abandonment to Jesus. His worth over my eternal soul cries for all glory and honor to be given Him. As I see His worth over my soul, I MUST HONOR HIM no matter the cost!!!

We ended the night with some Cane's chicken and some great fellowship with the gang. Some other great news in store concerning the project, project finances, project dates, creative thoughts towards the project, and much more. I will speak of some of that news asap here on the blog. Lots of excitement in the air. God is good!!! The next two dates on the calendar will be AWESOMENESS. Keep in touch through the site, FB, and Twitter because we aren't to cool for spontaneous meetings and events!!! ha ha!!! Know that we love you all. We want to be TRUE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST and want to see you there with us,,,equally yoked with our savior!!! Love you all!
